Local Ghost Trails was a bizarre project.
Originally it was to be Ghost Trails of South Yorkshire - the area
in which the stories are set. But as South Yorkshire is not a politically
defined area the publisher determined that some potential readers may be
confused and gave the book a title which confused everyone beyond
the immediate area of distribution. After an encouraging start sales
evaporated and the book was promptly remaindered. Sad really - it contains
some of the most spooktacular stories in the Ghost Trails series. |
